We made our way up into the Southern Sierra Foothills for this scaled down(2020) wedding on the Jameson Ranch Camp. It was truly beautiful seeing the many branches of these families coming together in such a wonderful way. Melissa is blessed with a boatload of sisters and amazing women in her life - I am seriously thankful to have been able to meet all of them on this wonderfully charged cosmic-ly significant day (Melissa checked the charts and made sure this Full Moon wedding day was perfect for their signs).
Melissa and Alex are truly uniquely made for one another - no question about it. These two exude quirkiness and confidence in the best way. They are both extremely active and healthy while still bringing all the fun of life on the edge (they went backpacking for the first week of their honeymoon even!).
Every person involved in this wedding was a part of the “family” and they all brought the most authentic love to this day. From Debbie killing the officiant job(in a good way) with the most well thought out arrangement and wording I’ve seen to date to sisters and chosen family preparing dinner and horderves. This beautiful new couple had an Oak named after them to honor the day and the joy they’ve brought to the Ranch, a magical tea ceremony signifying the coming together of two unique souls, and some seriously tear worthy speeches from family. I hope every couple experiences the love I witnessed this amazing summer day.
I shot a roll or so of film this day as well and will be posting it sometime soon - keep an eye out.
